Embarking on an Egyptian Escapade: The Tom and Jerry Edition In February 2022, my mate Tom and I embarked on the second leg of our exhilarating journey, travelling from Jordan to Cairo, Egypt. Bursting with excitement to explore the historic city of Cairo, the world's sixth-largest by population in one city and teeming with wonders, our jam-packed itinerary included the iconic Pyramids, the Ancient Egyptian Museum, sampling camel meat, and reconnecting with old and new friends. This adventure was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, brimming with excitement and surprises at every turn. Jordan: A Journey of Self-Discovery Through Ancient Wonders and Otherworldly Landscapes

  Prior to embarking on my trip to Jordan, I had scant knowledge of this small Middle Eastern nation, save for its location on a map. However, my journey in February 2022 surpassed all expectations and instilled in me an enduring sense of wanderlust and self-discovery. Accompanied by my friend Tom, I explored the country for three full days before continuing on to Egypt. Our itinerary included Petra on day one, Wadi Rum on day two, and a day of travel from Aqaba before reaching Amman, where we stayed. We would meet many folks on this trip including a taxi driver named Mumhed who featured heavily in this trip.
